On the final weekend of October, we ventured to Bundaberg for the “UnbelievaBowl” Junior Pairs Carnival.
We were lucky enough to have 3 players from the Gold Coast District participating in the event.
Corey Marshall (Helensvale), Sophie Allan (Helensvale) & Sam Collier (Tweed Heads). It was amazing to see spectacular bowls being played over the weekend, with a lot of talent on display. The level of competition these juniors are playing, shows what is in store for the future of lawn bowls.
Corey Marshall finished in 3rd and Sophie Allan & Sam Collier (as pairs partners) finished in 4th.
Amazing effort from all three and we’re definitely going to be watching these 3 over the years to come.
